Collection: Orslow

The origins of traditional jeans

Ichiro Nakutsu is a compulsive clothing collector. Since 2005 he has been the designer and founder of Orslow.

About Orslow

His idea is simple: clothing must be designed to last. His inspiration: the history of denim, influenced by the Military universe and obviously workwear. Ichiro Nakutsu, through Orslow, is constantly looking for comfort. Difficult, after having worn pieces

Orslow, to wear something else. Orslow is the art of the basic with incomparable comfort.

Modernity at the service of the classic. In their workshop in Hyogo, Japan, the manufacturing process begins with the creation of the threads. The production of an Orslow denim is limited: although the looms run night and day, the output is very slow, which does not allow for large production.

Legendary models orSlow 105 and 107

Orslow has created a line of Denim that is now a reference, the Orslow 105 straight cut and the Orslow 107 more fitted. Orslow Denim was directly inspired by the Levi's archives, more precisely, by the personal collection of Big E (original Levi's until 1971) by Ichiro Nakutsu. Orslow is very attached to vintage manufacturing, each weft of Orslow Denim comes directly from a loom from the 30s, woven with a vintage shuttle. It doesn't matter if Orslow makes denim or fatigue pants in OG 107, the result is always perfect. Compare an original fatigue pants from the 70s to the Orslow fatigue pants OG 107, you won't see any difference, the cotton seems to come straight out of the history books.
