The Stevenson Overall Company is the brainchild of Zip Stevenson and Atsusuke Tagaya, who share a passion for vintage denim and leather goods. Originally founded in the 1920s and 30s in Portland, Indiana, the brand was relaunched in 2005 with the ambition of modernizing traditional techniques.

The duo has reintroduced a “flat seam” method used before the 1920s, prioritizing the authenticity and craftsmanship of handmade products. Their approach is inspired by vintage clothing, fabrics and artwork, which they reinterpret to create contemporary pieces that blend nostalgia and modernity. The brand is distinguished by its respect for forgotten details of the past, reassembled to meet the expectations of a modern and universal era.
